*This procedure works only with a PCs running on Windows OS.
- Please make sure your device is currently running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, if not please update the device to Ice Cream Sandwich.
- Download the Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18 package.
- Extract the files to your desktop.
- Enable USB Debugging on the Sony Xperia U, by going to Menu > Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging.
- Connect the Xperia U to your PC using a USB cable.
- Execute the RunMe.bat application.
- On the program, select the Normal Mode option.
- Select the Root option.
- Follow the few simple steps on the program.
- After it has sucessfully rooted the Xperia U, reboot immediately.
- Congratulation you’ve successfully rooted your Sony Xperia U!
- You should be able to locate the Superuser app in your device after rooting.
Simple isn’t it? Yeah, but even though it is simple, but do be very cautious during the process to ensure your device doesn’t brick by your mistake! everything is work but not root
when the phone is rooting they are telling me to enter the backup and restore and to restore my phone… ok i did it but when the phone is rebooting the told me that after the reboot all is done , but nothing happened… please reply its urgent ,,
